there are many different ways to go through life - and nobody really knows in advance which will be the best one. But sometimes we need some help to find this way and to make a decision. I believe THAT'S the relevant part if you ask an oracle.
If you make decisions you can perform your life actively and you will become conscious about your power.
If you accept the answers from the oracle and become active than you will decide for a certain way and all the consequences. You will feel responsible and get the feeling of control over your life.
In my opinion these feelings are good ones. If you do nothing - it's not bad - but nothing happens. And if you often behave like that you may feel delivered.
I know sometimes there are situations you can't control. May be you are sick or there is a stroke of fate. So "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference (Reinhold Niebuhr)."
To come back to your question: Yes - I think an oracle helps to find the right way, the right answer and your own truth because you start to become more conscious - but don't forget your common sense.

The oracle can answer questions if anyone is thinking of you or is missing you or is loving you or is interested in you or others ... You can ask questions to the oracle e.g. "Can I ..." "Will I ..." "Am I ..." etc.
But the oracle is only suitable for yes and no questions. If you need answers for more complex subjects you can ask e.g. the tarot cards. Or ask good friends for advice!
Wait several weeks or months until you consult the Oracle again with a specific question.
