| The Significance of Numbers in Numerology Numerology is the study of numbers and the esoteric belief that numbers hold significance in the fate and character composition of an individual. In numerology, numbers show up in a divine way throughout our lives, from our birth to our death. A person’s numerological chart is composed of several branches such as the Destiny Number, Life Path Number, Soul number, and Personal Year number. Failure to consider a person’s entire number chart can lead to confusion. Numerology is often associated with astrology and similar arts of the divine. Some astrologists believe that for each number there is a corresponding celestial body in our solar system. Many religions even use numerology. For example, the Christian Bible places a strong significance on the numbers 6 (the number of the anti-Christ and Satan) and 7 (the number of God and peace).
